Myself and Sarah Tisdale were talking about getting together and working on setting up an event here in Portland. Of course we want to make sure that we don't overlap the Bellingham event.

ReplyDeleteit's looking like the bellingham event is shaping up for July 17-18, if that helps you out. i'm pretty sure any/all questions could probably be fairly well answered by brent cole (brent@whatsup-magazine.com), nora hughes or myself (carey@cascadiaweekly.com), as well as michelle. let us know if you need anything and we will do our very best to provide.

Myself and my friend Kim are very interested in being involved on whatever level we can be on helping coordinating a Portland event! That would be great. There has been a couple other people that have posted on the blog interest as well, so lets make it happen!

I wanted to orginally plan for a meeting to get everyone together this Sunday, but Sarah T. brough it to my attention, that tomorrow is Father's Day.

I don't know what times work best for people or area's of Portland. Myself and Sarah T, both have Sunday's off. I chose the Bye and Bye because there is lots of room and this is also where recently myself and a group of Gunther and Donnkie's friends met to support each other. If for some reason this does not work for you or you can not make it (I know for people like Brian, who live in Camas, this might pose a problem) I will do my best to take notes and send out the information in a newsletter type fashion via email.
