I called the Auditor's office, they have this information but it is not public. The clerk said our best bet is to call the police department and get the WN# from them...not sure if they will do that though
I tried a licensing service, and they said that they cann't give out that information to anyone but the registered owner. They told me that the Police should know, and that KGMI was announcing the # over the radio.
There was a piece of wood found with a boat registration # on it... wondering if it belonged to the boat so we would know if it had any relevance to the search efforts... I called the coast guard and they said it was unlikely as the boat was found in tact.
one of the boaters found a WN# between Sin Clair and Vendobee (on the SE side of Sin Clair) the relevance is to learn more about where everything was flowing and spreading to
it is unlikely. his boat was built from a kit in the 70's and was unregistered . this is a fact im sure of. i have extensive knowledge of gunthers particular boat . but pursuing all leads is valiant. tom
I look at some photos of his boat and there wasn't a WN # on either side of the boat.

ReplyDeleteDo you want me to call the Police Dept? I checked the radio station and they said they don't think they have it.
