I am just coming back to bellingham today and really want to help look tonight. I have no idea where to go or who to call so please give me some contact information to know what general location I could start looking at. much love.
FYI, I spoke with Whatcom Search and Rescue and their hands are tied. They are not allowed to come out and help unless the Sheriff or Coast Gaurd calls them in. Her best reccomendations are to walk the shorelines, as we are doing. She also says we can try calling the Sheriff's office and ask them to see if they would allow search and rescue out to specific locations that might be too hard for us to reach. She said to ask for Mark Jolt (spelling?).
I am a friend and pilot looking for some support to fund aircraft rental to help the search from the air. anything would help. my cell is 360-961-7474. my friend jamie has been trying to round up some air support too, and the more the better. we can really cover some ground, so your support will pay off. please call with any ideas, we need binocs too and extra eyes. so you could get a plane ride out of it if that stokes you out, whatever it takes! positivity and thanks
For the evening search, lets meet at 6pm at the grayhound parking lot. Bring:
flashlights water boat if you have life jackets binocs maps Questions: 220-6875 Kyle, I have binocs you can borrow but I am not off from work until after 5pm.
I just recieved a call stating from the people searching and Arron (sorry I get the name wrong) has found items that seem to belong to Gunther's boat on Portage Island.
Please let us here at Boundary Bay Brewery know if there is any way we can help you in the evening search. Manpower, food, etc. Call the brewery at 360-647-5593 and ask for Casey, Amber and/or Amy.
Lee is going to give me the map with areas covered during the day. The evening group will cover some of the key spots over again and any others that you guys can think of. Rita, can you call me once you have searched that area to let me know so we can add that to the map?
me and my fiance are about to head out and go by the airport, locus beach I think it's called and around that area, depending on how long we stay out there we're going to try to be at the greyhound station at 6 to see what we can do to help.....please text me about any changes or ideas while were in that area 9273361
I just tried calling you folks at Boundary but I keep getting the voicemail :(. You guys are probably super busy considering it is happy hour. Call my cel if you get a chance to escape.

I will be searching cherry point up through birch bay tonight. Kinda far out, but worth a look.
