  1. I hope we can make this the ultimate Celebration of their Lives. If there is anything I can do, if you guys need the Boogie Universal sound system, let me know.

  2. I think that having more than one memorial for them is a good idea. It allows people with different schedules to at least go to one. It's also an outlet for people to laugh, cry, gather, and remember our friends. I think there are a lot of people anxious to get the chance to do this without the stress of the search.
However, I do think it's important that we have one a ways out, like this one you're talking about in July. There a lot of people, many on this blog, who are out of town and wishing they could be here. I have a feeling that many of them will try to come to this. We should give them the time they might need to get their travel plans in order.

  3. I think a large event, several weeks out is a good idea for many, many reasons. I'd be glad to help in any way. I have event orgaizing experience, know musicians, can probably get donations, volunteer at the event, let's roll. Let's meet up somewhere & do some planning. I can be reached at c.l.bairdbrains@comcast.net

  5. Yes, please contact us with ideas, etc. We've gotten some great e-mails over the last day or so, but would like anyone who wants to be involved to contact us. I can't speak for Carey (though I assume she agrees), but this is our way of honoring Gunther and Donkee (I've seen five different spellings, can someone tell me the correct one).

My point is, we'd be honored to be the point people for the big celebration. If everyone is cool with that.
